Jada Smith
PRESIDENT
Jada is a filmmaker originating from the vibrant streets of Queens, New York. Jada has been on a journey to capture and share stories with the world since a young age. Whether through dance, acting, or film, she has always had a way of turning words into memories. Jada is not just a director but a translator of emotions and a seeker of inspiration. As a young black woman breaking into the industry, she is determined to show the world what she has to offer by cultivating stories that provide escapism, representation, and imagination to an ever-growing community of artists.
McKenzie O’Connor
HEAD OF PRODUCTION
McKenzie O’Connor is an accomplished Writer and Producer who has devoted her career to working on a variety of animated and live action projects. These projects, though short in form, are rich in content and have provided her with a broad range of experience. Originally rooted in theatre, McKenzie has a deep appreciation for the stage. However, she made the transition to the film industry three years ago. Since then, she has been leveraging her theatrical background to make a name for herself in the cinematic world, adding a unique flair to each project she undertakes.

Nick King
HEAD OF SUBMISSIONS
Nick King is a director/cinematographer from Long Island, New York. Despite going to school and getting a degree in Digital Art and Design, he was able to find his way into the film department and thrive alongside other filmmakers he was around. He is passionate about telling creative stories and expanding the scope of what the viewer may be expecting from the medium of film.
Deanna Taylor
HEAD OF MARKETING
Deanna Taylor is a passionate film editor born and raised in Queens, New York. She found herself involved with a crew of passionate filmmakers with whom she has been working alongside for a little over a year now. Deanna has abundant experience in social media editing, but her true passion lies in narrative storytelling. She finds joy in crafting compelling narratives and bringing them to life on screen through film. With a keen sense of efficiency and dedication to her craft, Deanna aims to push the boundaries of storytelling, hoping to captivate audiences.
